Life remains much the same, aside from the fact that RISD is now flooded with high-school aged kids here for a pre-college summer program. I’m tired, hot, and loving it here. These are a couple little assignments I’ve had so far.
It’s a little hard to believe that it’s been less than a week since I got here. Sunday feels like ages ago—but maybe that’s a good thing. My time here has already been unforgettable and influential.
It’s a bit hard to believe: I’ve finally made it. I’m here in Rhode Island, at RISD, and in my room. It’s a little surreal, and very awesome. I miss my family, but love it here. This summer is going to be great. Heck, these next three years are going to be great.
I’m no city boy. I am far more accustomed to walking through the woods then walking across the street (though I still manage the latter just fine). So being here in the big city of New York is quite a change.
